Justice & Peace Ruaraka Deanery

Catholic Justice and Peace Commission (CJPC) Membership in Ruaraka Deanery is drawn from all the 10 parishes and one Chaplaincy parish in the deanery. CJPC has been established as a Ministry in the catholic church which offers support to the Christians and the community in matters of justice and peace. Currently, CJPC has representation in all the 11 parishes within the deanery.

We have adopted the structure of at least 2 members per Small Christian Community or group and this has significantly helped the group to have strong representation at the grass-root level. In most parishes within our Deanery, all Vice Secretaries of groups and Small Christian Communities are automatic members of CJPC making it easy to disseminate information to the Jumuias and from the Christians to the leaders.

The following is an estimated number of Catholic Justice and Peace Members across all parishes in Ruaraka Deanery.
